Video Conferencing Services

Your positive experience is our top priority. Video Conferencing Services is committed to making your Telehealth experiences as straightforward and seamless as possible.

Video Conferencing Services is situated within the Information Management / Information Technology Services (IMITS) department.  From helping you book a session, to providing you with on-demand troubleshooting, our team of coordinators, schedulers and technical analysts will support you every step of the way.  We will help you:

  • Coordinate room logistics (e.g. arrange for health care staff to be present to operate clinical peripherals, etc.)
  • Schedule events
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, if necessary
Booking a session

To book a session, please choose your option:  

I work within a health authority

I work outside the health authority network

After you submit a request form you can expect a response from our team within 1 to 2 business days. A scheduler will work with you to ensure successful delivery of video conferencing services; a needs assessment and additional information may be required.

To make a change or to cancel a request send an email to VideoConferencing@phsa.ca.

Free service

Video conferencing, scheduling, clinical coordination, recording, and technical support services are all provided to you free of charge.

Interpreter and language services are offered through the
Provincial Language Service (PLS).
 
To book your language services, please proceed to the PLS secure booking system or call 1 877 BC TALKS (228 2557).

Technical Support can assist you with:

  • Answering questions about equipment and software requirements
  • Testing equipment and connections prior to a video conference
  • Troubleshooting technical issues the day-of or during a video conference
  • Extending the duration of a video conference, should it require more time (and participants’ room schedules permit it).
