Post-COVID-19 Interdisciplinary Clinical Care Network

The Post-COVID-19 Interdisciplinary Clinical Care Network offers clinical care, education and research opportunities to support patients experiencing post-COVID symptoms and their health-care providers.

The Post-COVID-19 Interdisciplinary Clinical Care Network aims to support the best possible outcomes for people recovering from lingering symptoms after COVID-19 infection, through research, education and care. The Network is a partnership between PHSA, B.C.’s health authorities, patients and research organizations across the province and offers interdisciplinary clinics, supports for primary care providers, and resources to help those affected manage their symptoms.

Research

The Post-COVID-19 Interdisciplinary Clinical Care Network coordinates rigorous and patient-oriented research and enables rapid learning and data-sharing to improve care.

If you've had COVID-19, there are many ways you can get involved in COVID-19 research.

At a Post-COVID Recovery Clinic

If you visit a post-COVID-19 recovery clinic, you will be asked if you want to participate in a biobank. If you agree, your blood samples will be stored in a secure place for use in future research.

You will also be able to fill out questionnaires and be linked to other research opportunities.

REACH BC

If you aren't being seen at a clinic, you can get involved in research by visiting www.REACHBC.ca.

REACH BC is a joint initiative of the health authorities and university partners in British Columbia.

BC health-care researchers who are studying COVID-19 can submit to access patients and their outcomes post-COVID through the Post-COVID Interdisciplinary Clinical Care Network. Please email us for more information.

UBC also offers guidance for researchers on how to access contact information of potential study participants for research related to COVID-19, including post-COVID-19 recovery.

Finally, BC health-care researchers who are studying COVID-19 can sign up on the REACH BC online platform, which links active research studies to patients with lived experience.

Michael Smith Health Research BC also offers researchers a BC COVID-19 Research Inventory that tracks research currently underway in B.C.
