Outpatient Cancer Care Survey

The provincial survey supports accountability and is part of BC’s commitment to support and promote quality service improvement throughout our health care system.
For this survey, approximately 28,000 surveys were mailed. Adult patients who have received outpatient care for cancer, a blood disorder, or a non-invasive tumour in any BC health care facility in the period from April 2019 to Spring 2020 were selected. All patients who received intravenous therapy or radiation between April and September 2019 were invited to complete a survey; patients who received non-IV therapy were randomly sampled.

The BC Office of Patient-Centred Measurement coordinated this survey, along with other provincial surveys.

A person may have received a survey for each location where they received care.
