Information for Suppliers

PHSA Supply Chain is the sole contracting agent and manages all contracts for BC health authorities’ goods, services and capital equipment, with the exception of clinical services contracts.

Our integrated approach uses provincial teams in two key areas: Procurement and Clinical Support.  The Procurement team is responsible for product sourcing, contracting strategies and order management.  The Clinical Support team is responsible for the provincial product catalogues.  The use of product catalogues reduces the purchase price for the standard items and decreases the inventory on hand. Clinical Support improves the efficiency of Supply Chain services and results in significant savings that can be redistributed to the health authorities.

As a supplier if you require clarifications pertaining to an ongoing competitive procurement or have questions about the procurement process, please submit these in writing to the Contact Person as indicated in the procurement process documents, posted on BC Bid.

For any contract related questions or notifications, please submit these in writing as per the notification terms of the contract.

In the event of a product disruption including, product backorders, product shortages or product recall, please email the disruption details to HSSBCSCMPSTeam@phsa.ca.

Please note that PHSA warehouses are closed for receiving on BC Statutory Holidays, plus Boxing Day, December 26th.  When the holiday occurs on a weekend, it is observed on the next business day.
