Critical Care BC

Critical Care BC is a network of provincial partners that drives improvement in health services to optimize outcomes for critically ill patients in BC.

Critical Care BC, a provincial Health Improvement Network, provides planning and coordination to address province-wide health system improvement opportunities for critical care services. Critical Care BC collaborates closely with regional and provincial partners to improve the experience and outcomes for critically ill patients within BC. 

Key functions of the Network are:

  • Health system planning;
  • Clinical policy development and implementation;
  • Data, analytics and reporting;  
  • Quality improvement initiatives; and
  • Research, education and innovation.
The Network is achieving its goals by engaging and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary clinical, operational and academic leaders, as well as patients and community partners.
