As a provincial Health Improvement Network, Emergency Care BC (ECBC) focuses on improving patient outcomes and enhancing patient and provider experiences.
To do so, Emergency Care BC assists its partners in improving health outcomes, service quality and coordination of emergency care services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Health System planning;
Quality improvement initiatives;
Clinical and patient resources;
Data, analytics, reporting; and
Research, education and innovation.
ECBC builds on the outstanding work of the BC Emergency Medicine Network and Emergency Services Advisory Committee.
