Protection of personal information and maintaining accurate data in the SPR is of paramount importance. BC's Surgical Patient Registry complies with all provincial privacy legislation as well as Health Authority policies.
Access to personal information in the SPR is allowed only to those who require the information for the purposes of scheduling patients for surgery and the maintenance and monitoring of the provincial surgical wait list.

Step 1 - Contact your Surgeon's Office
- Confirm you are in fact a patient waiting on the surgeon's wait list.
- Confirm all necessary paperwork has been completed (ie: the surgeon office has a signed consent form etc)
Step 2 - Check the Ministry of Health website
