Metro Vancouver is preparing for a full Skytrain shutdown on December 10 - 12, 2019 unless the union and the employer can reach a deal. Expo and Millennium Lines will not be operating during this time.
PHSA programs are committed to ensuring our patients continue to receive the care they need in the event of a transit strike and are working with our care providers to identify alternative transportation options if there is a strike. Appointments will continue as scheduled unless you hear from a member of our care team.

PHSA is working with staff to ensure they can continue to provide top quality care, including encouraging car-pooling and remote working, where possible, to reduce traffic on the roads. We are continuing to identify potential impacts on our operations, and will continue to do so daily for the duration of the strike, and are putting plans in place to manage staff coverage if and where necessary.
