MyCareCompass

Many results for outpatient tests performed at our laboratories are available online so please visit the website for your local laboratory here to learn more about how to access your results. 

Patients who visit laboratories in the Fraser Health, Vancouver Coastal Health and Providence Health Care regions and are registered at MyCareCompass can get results online. MyCareCompass offers a fast and secure method for patients to receive their results electronically. MyCareCompass is a free service, and can be accessed here: MyCareCompass.

Getting results by mail

Please speak to the staff at your local laboratory to see if this option is available and, if so, for instructions on how to receive your results by mail.

Health Gateway

Health Gateway provides secure and convenient access to your health records.  Anyone 12 years or older can use it.  Health Gateway allows you to access lab results, imaging reports, medications, immunization history, COVID-19 proof of vaccination, and other useful information.  It can be accessed here:  Health Gateway

Request to access patient's file

To request information from your child's medical file (children under 12 years of age), print the release of information form. Once complete, fax or mail the form to the hospital where you are making the request (instructions and a contact list are included with the release of information form).

Please note that due to the volume of requests received, it may take four weeks or more to process release of information. For privacy reasons, DO NOT send personal medical information by email.
