PHSA is committed to eradicating Indigenous-specific racism and discrimination and advancing cultural safety and humility.
This commitment is guided by the Coast Salish teachings and mandated by legislative obligations and provincial commitments to Indigenous peoples, outlined in the Journey to Eradicating Indigenous-specific Racism and Discrimination. 

Across PHSA, actions are being taken to identify and eradicate Indigenous-specific racism and discrimination within programs and settings as well as in our policies, procedures, training, recruiting and other practices.
