Dr. Daniel McKee is a Canadian Royal College certified plastic surgeon. He completed his medical degree at the University of Ottawa, and his plastic surgery residency training at McMaster University. Additional fellowship training was completed at Dalhousie University. Dr. McKee trained with Dr. Hugh McLean, a well-known plastic surgeon based in Toronto who performs gender-affirming chest surgeries. Top surgery became an area of expertise in Ontario prior to starting practice in British Columbia.
He performed additional training in California focusing on gender-affirming surgery. Dr. Mckee has published widely in academic journals and textbooks. He has been an invited speaker at International conferences - including an invited panel speaker on chest surgery at the 50th annual meeting for the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), in San Diego, California.
