Accessing gender-affirming care on the Interim Federal Health Program
 - The Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP) provides temporary Canada-wide healthcare coverage for some newcomers and refugees.

Rainbow Refugee

Founded in 2000, Rainbow Refugee is a Vancouver community group that supports and advocates with people seeking refugee protection because of persecution based on sexual orientation, gender identity or HIV status. Rainbow Refugee engages in outreach, advocacy and public education on LGBT2Q+ and HIV+ refugee issues. 

Rainbow Refugee is member driven and all volunteer. Rainbow Refugee also provides information to asylum seekers outside Canada, and is a sister organization of LEGIT: Canadian Immigration for same-sex partners.

Immigrant Services Society of British Columbia

Immigrant Services Society of British Columbia has programs for refugees, women, children and youth, as well as support services in over forty-five languages. Services are available throughout metro Vancouver, Squamish and the Okanagan.

Mosaic

Mosaic is a multicultural non-profit organization dedicated to addressing issues that affect immigrants and refugees in the course of their settlement and integration into Canadian society.
