Trans Care BC was established five years ago, following community engagement and input from transgender communities, clinical experts and stakeholders. It made B.C. the first province in Canada to create a coordination body responsible for supporting a comprehensive and provincial network of care options.

Our team is always focused on the future and what we can do – alongside community members, clinical and health system partners – to continue improving and expanding gender-affirming health care in B.C.

This five-year anniversary is a chance to look at the impact of the work, celebrate progress, and say thank you to everyone who's contributed to the journey so far.

To mark five years, Trans Care BC (TCBC) asked for help from community members and partners to reflect on what's been done, and to look ahead together. With your support, we made a series of videos and social media posts.

Even short videos like these take a lot of thought and effort, both from people who submitted videos, and from our teams at TCBC and Provincial Health Services Authority. To help us plan future program communications, we'd love to hear how the experience was for you - what worked, and what could be better next time.

We'd appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to complete this survey to tell us about your experience with Trans Care BC's five-year anniversary videos. The survey will be open until December 24th, 2020.
