Clinical Mentorship Call Spotlight: Dr. Charles Ho

We are pleased to introduce our October 7th Clinical Mentorship Call mentor:  Dr. Charles Ho!

Dr. Charles Ho is a child and adolescent psychiatrist with the BC Children’s Hospital Gender Clinic. He developed an interest in working with gender diverse youth and their families during his residency and received extra training through the WPATH Global Education Initiative as well as the through training offered by the Institute for Sexual Minority Health. He supports the multidisciplinary team with readiness assessments, mental health consultations, and supporting youth and their families in their gender journeys.

Physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, registered clinical counsellors, and registered health care professionals are invited to join Dr. Charles Ho on the October 7th Mentorship Call. This Zoom meeting will provide an opportunity for sharing of information and resources, clinical discussion and professional networking.

Trans Care BC’s Clinical Mentorship Call is held every Thursday from 12:10 to 1:00 p.m. (Pacific Time). If you would like to be involved, please email trans.edu@phsa.ca to be included on our distribution list. Meeting minutes will be made available to all members.
