Clinical Mentor Spotlight: Dr. Danya Fox & Dr. Pam Narang

We are pleased to introduce our January 14th Clinical Mentorship Call mentor:  Dr. Danya Fox & Dr. Pam Narang!

Dr. Danya Fox:
Danya Fox is a pediatric endocrinologist at BC Children's Hospital where she works in the Gender Clinic as part of a multi-disciplinary team. She completed her pediatrics residency and pediatric endocrinology fellowship at BC Children's Hospital, as well as a Master of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University. She first began working with transgender and gender diverse youth in 2015 during her fellowship, during which time she trained under Dr. Daniel Metzger.

Dr. Pam Narang:

Dr. Pam Narang is a Registered Psychologist and Clinical Instructor in the UBC Department of Psychiatry, working at BC Children's Hospital and in private practice. Her work is focused on children, adolescents and their significant caregivers. She often offers assessment within a training/teaching capacity to learners, and peer consultation with colleagues in the areas of psychological assessment, treatment, diversity, and gender-affirming care.


Physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, registered clinical counsellors, and registered health care professionals are invited to join Dr. Danya Fox and Dr. Pam Narang on the January 14th Mentorship Call. This Zoom meeting will provide an opportunity for sharing of information and resources, clinical discussion and professional networking. 

Trans Care BC’s Clinical Mentorship Call is held every Thursday from 12:10 to 1:00 p.m. (Pacific Time). If you would like to be involved, please email trans.edu@phsa.ca to be included on our distribution list. Meeting minutes will be made available to all members.
