Clinical Mentor Spotlight: Lu Lam

We are pleased to introduce our June 16 Clinical Mentorship Call mentor: Lu Lam!

Join Lu Lam for an experiential gathering to learn more about heart, body, and land-based mindfulness wellness approaches that QTBIPOC communities are asking for. Simple tools will be offered that can enhance how you can support QTBIPOC folks. Lu Lam, M. Ed. C.C.C. is a Chinese-Taiwanese trans-identified Clinical Counsellor, Clinical Educator, and Mindfulness Consultant in private practice.

Lu's been supporting trans, non-binary, Two-Spirit, and gender-expansive communities for over 13 years. Lu specializes in an intersectional anti-oppression approach that is body and land-based, trauma-informed, and rooted in mindfulness. He has developed a trans-affirming curriculum for health institutions and post-secondary organizations in both Toronto and Vancouver. He loves to meditate, cherish family time, hike, wild swim, paddle, and climb.

Trans Care BC's Clinical Mentorship Call is held every Thursday from 12:10 to 1:00 p.m. (Pacific Time). If you would like to be involved, please email trans.edu@phsa.ca to be included on our distribution list. Meeting minutes will be made available to all members.
