Your First Six Months

From settling in, to probationary reviews, to getting important feedback from you on your onboarding experience, your first six months will be a busy and engaging time.

‎After your first month, we hope that you feel like part of the team and are settling into your role. You will have completed your orientation, should have completed any site- and role-specific training, and discussed performance objectives with your leader.

You should also have familiarized yourself with PHSA's Mission, Vision and Values. Find out more here

‎As you continue to settle into your role, your feedback is important to us. At around the end of your second month with us, you will receive a survey asking you about your recruitment and orientation experience.

Over the last few years, we've been able to make changes to the way we bring new employees into the organization, all thanks to new staff who take the time to provide honest and direct answers about their experience with us.

The survey will be sent to your work email, and we hope that you will take the time to share your feedback.

As you continue to expand your networks, and your contribution to PHSA grows, we hope you feel engaged and fulfilled.

Around the six-month mark, you should have participated in your probationary review. In addition to reviewing your work so far, we believe continuous, two-way feedback is important. This is an opportunity to have an open dialogue with your leader, and plan out the work and your career goals for the remainder of your first year.

By the time your probationary review process is done, around seven months, you will receive a second survey, where you can share feedback about your overall onboarding experience.
