Employee Illness Protocol

 
These protocols are for employees who are concerned they have an infection, illness or disease that they may have contracted or been exposed to at work, at home or in the community.

​The Occupational Health Nursing Program is a vital part of the Workplace Health department that provides a safe and healthy working environment for all PHSA employees.

In order to minimize the risk of exposing patients and clients of PHSA, employees should refer to and follow the protocols below:

    These protocols apply to PHSA employees only. Employees of other health authorities should refer to their own workplace health department's communicable disease protocols.
