BC Ambulance Service

Since 1974, BC Ambulance Service (BCAS) has been providing expert pre-hospital care to patients when a medical emergency occurs. BCAS is an organization that is rich with tradition and holds a strong commitment to providing timely and high quality patient care to citizens across BC.

Patient Transfer Network

A provincial, 24/7 patient transfer program, BC's Patient Transfer Network (PTN) contributes to overall patient care on a daily basis. Since its inception in 2001, PTN has successfully collaborated with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide safe, timely, and cost effective transfer services to acute care patients.

Using daily phone and web communication, healthcare providers can access and document acute care bed availability in the PTN registry.
