The BC Children's and BC Women's Redevelopment Project is a joint initiative of the Province of British Columbia and the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA).
The BC Children's and BC Women's Redevelopment Project is one example of the added capacity the government of British Columbia is building into the health system. The total cost of the three-phase redevelopment project is estimated at $678 million. The provincial government contribution to the overall project is $532 million.
The BC Children'a and BC Women's Redevelopment Project is a PHSA initiative. PHSA works in partnership with the province's health authorities and health-care professionals to improve access to evidence-informed practice closer to where people live and to effectively promote health, manage chronic conditions and reduce the burden of illness.
