There are several projects underway on campus that have impacts on parking and roadways. Please allow for extra time when arriving for appointments.

Newest Construction & Parking Information

Construction of the new Teck Acute Care Centre (Teck ACC) is underway

Construction of the new Teck ACC in the centre of the BC Children's Hospital and BC Women's Hospital + Health Centre campus has been underway since fall 2014.

Construction of the BC Women's Urgent Care Centre (UCC) is underway

Construction of the new Urgent Care Centre at BC Women's Hospital + Health Centre is currently underway in the Assessment Room and former Labour and Delivery Suite. Construction is anticipated to be complete in late fall 2017. 

The current Assessment Room will remain open 24-hours a day throughout construction in the existing location at BC Women’s entrance 97. 

All patients, families and visitors should enter the hospital campus off of Oak Street, and follow the one way ring road to entrance 93 or 97. Parking is available outside of entrances 93 and 97, as well as in the underground parkade. Clear signage will be in place to help you find your way. 

Wellness Walkway Construction

Construction of a one-kilometre Wellness Walkway, which will encircle the hospital grounds, is part of the BC Children's Hospital and BC Women's Redevelopment Project and a requirement of the City of Vancouver. 

Construction of the Wellness Walkway is currently underway on campus and will take place in several stages and at various locations around the perimeter of the hospital campus.
