Planning and Building for Tomorrow's Care

The BC Children's and BC Women's Redevelopment Project is a three-phase initiative to improve care at BC Children's and BC Women's hospitals.

It is currently in Phase 3: Repurposing and renovating portions of the former BC Children's and Women's main hospital building, to accommodate the relocation of Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children, create 10 additional single room maternity care suites and relocate and refresh other maternal care units.

Designed with patients, their families and care teams in mind, the redevelopment project’s vision is for a campus of patient-centred care that operates in an environment of quality, excellence and innovation.
