About the strategy
The strategy was established in 2010 to implement B.C.’s Breast Health Action Plan (BHAP).
Developed by the PHSA at the request of the Ministry of Health Services, the plan outlines B.C.’s existing breast health system and includes provincial objectives and strategies to make the system work better for women.
The work of the PBHS is focused on addressing four main areas covered by the plan:
- Clinical Pathway
- Digital Mammography
- Workforce
- Prevention
