Placement Coordinator Information
How do I request a placement?
- your education institution must have a current affiliation agreement
- requests for placements should originate from a placement coordinator at the academic institution, not from individual students
- students should communicate their placement interests to the placement coordinator for their educational program
- PHSA and Agency staff work with academic institutions to establish affiliation agreements and match student learning needs to available placements
What insurance coverage do I need?
All students and faculty must have both third party liability insurance and accident insurance coverage prior to the start of all placements. Academic institutions with an Affiliation Agreement with PHSA or one of its Agencies must arrange to insure all their students. If you are unsure, please check with the placement coordinator at your educational institution.
