Troubleshooting

Test your webcasting connection here...

Why doesn't the presentation appear?

If it is a live presentation, it may not have started on time.

If you are using a pop-up blocker, configure it to allow site pop-ups. (Search for pop-up blocker in the Help menu on your browser for assistance).

Why don't I see any video in the video window?

The presentation may be audio only, or you may not have the current verision of Windows Media Player installed.  You should have Windows Media Player V11 or higher on your system.

If you are at home, you should download the latest version.  If you are at work, please contact your IT administrator.

Why can't I ask a question, email or participate in polls?

The presentation may not have those features activated.

If any of these features are activated for your presentation, then you will see the following icons above the video window:

To ask a question, click on the talk bubble icon.

To participate in polls, click on the poll icon.

To send an email invitation to the presentation, click on the envelope icon.

To view websites, documents and files associated with the presentation, click on the paperclip icon.

If any of these icons are greyed out that means that questions, invitations, links and polls are not being taken for the presentation.
