Emergency Services

The PHSA is working collaboratively with the Ministry of Health and other health authorities on initiatives aimed at ensuring the PHSA is able to support the delivery of emergency services around the province.

The Provincial Emergency Services Project is a collaborative, province-wide project to improve the effectiveness of BC’s emergency health services system. The project’s aim is to produce system-wide improvements at the provincial level, and to identify innovative, actionable solutions that can be shared among the health authorities and that build on the local efforts of health authorities.
