BC Mental Health & Addiction Services Clinical Laboratory

The BC Mental Health & Addictions Services rapid response lab provides services to the Riverview Hospital and Forensic Psychiatric Hospital patients and clients. This includes the collection of blood and other specimens, the routine testing of blood and urine samples, as well as bedside electrocardiography and glucometry testing. Samples requiring tests which are not performed onsite are referred to the appropriate reference laboratories.
