The Lower Mainland Health Authorities are pleased to launch the pilot Green+Leaders Program—designed specifically to champion the enthusiasm and ideas of our staff while also:

  • Capturing eco-efficiencies at the unit level in the key areas of materials reduction, energy, and transportation
  • Achieving our LEAN goals of reducing waste
  • Achieving our HR staff engagement goals of improving employee health and satisfaction at work.

Green+Leaders are staff volunteers who help foster sustainable behaviours in their departments by:

  • Acting as early sustainability adopters
  • Modeling new behaviours
  • Providing colleagues with sustainability information
  • Helping individuals identify alternatives.

If you're interested in the program, please email Meredith Hunt, Program Coordinator, Green+Leaders or call her at 604 875 4466 x21153 .
